Five Jordan High School band students were selected to participate in the 26th Annual Gustavus Adolphus Honor Band festival at Gustavus Adolphus College in St.Peter, MN. The honor band festival was held November 2nd-3rd. Students were nominated and selected from a list of nearly 350 high school students from across the state of Minnesota to form two 100-member concert bands and one jazz band.
High school students arrived on Sunday November 2nd and were greeted by Gustavus students and staff and met their student hosts. During the next 24 hours they rehearsed advanced music, attended master classes, socialized, and met Gustavus students. The honor band festival culminated in a concert on Monday Nov, 3rd in Christ Chapel.
